These are a few of the drawings I did last week at the Kalahari. I had the privilege to draw a very nice lady who is almost 90 years old. This opportunity doesn't come along often, so I really enjoyed drawing her caricature.

I haven't drawn at my caricature stand in about a month (I've been at Jewelry), but today I did! A Lot! I like being able to switch back and forth. Right now we are busy with Spring Breaks and I'm working almost everyday so the slight change in environment helps me keep my sanity :)

These are my political caricatures done before the election. The black and white sketches of Obama and McCain were some of my very first caricatures. The McCain one doesn't look much like him, I'll need to get a lot better to draw him well. We had the b/w Obama sketch on display at Kalahari and someone bought it, so I no longer have the original. My favorite of these drawings is Palin. My references for her were from a T.V. Guide pic with her and Tina Fey playing her, so she's kind of a mesh of the two. She is Adorable! I did have her on display before the election and someone did ask about buying it, but they did not. I never got around to drawing Biden. Perhaps someday...

My 1st Blog!

Well, here's my first post...

Since I'm just getting started I figured I'd post some stuff I've done recently. This was a commissioned Christmas Gift to the doctors at Life Stages in Bellevue, OH.
